“The most beautiful people wear their hearts on their sleeves and their souls in their smiles.”
– Mark Anthony
Melissa and Andrew, truly, both of your hearts are beyond beautiful. So thankful to have been a part of your incredible day. Enjoy these memories.
Madison, GA is the most darling little town. With its quaint streets, historic homes, and lovely little shops I can see exactly why these two wanted to get married there. From the moment we connected, McKinley shared how much she loved her venue, and loved how everything was in walking distance, so their guest could experience the joy of small town life for a moment.
McKinlie and Eric, what a treat to spend the day with you both and such a fun group of friends and family. I know how much heart you two put into each detail, and I pray I captured this day just how you two remember it, and you both can look back and be reminded of what an incredible day it was from beginning to end.
These two warm my heart. It’s difficult to put to adequate words, but I am simply enriched by their love for one another. So, with that, consider yourself warned, but AP and I had an incredibly hard time picking our favorites for this post and decided to just go ahead and post all our favorites! Well, not ALL, cause, oh my goodness….
I am just thrilled to share this beautiful wedding with you. Ashby and Brenda created such a lovely day, full of all the things and people they loved. Cator Woolford Gardens was a perfect backdrop as their family and friends poured in to celebrate these two.
Ashby and Brenda, I was over joyed to get to witness such a fun love story. I hope you enjoy all of these and the many more coming your way!
This wedding honestly felt like a dream. Each beautiful and thoughtful detail outdid the next, accompanied by two of the most genuine people truly made my heart beyond full as I snapped throughout this day.
I hope each of these captures share this days story, and for the sake of allowing the pictures to speak versus my words, I will be brief.
However, I did want to be sure to mention the incredible vendors on this day. I loved working alongside the crew at M. Elizabeth Events. The day was flawless because of these incredible ladies. And oh my how Floressence Flowers out did themselves with each and every lovely detail. I didn’t think it would be possible to make the farm at old edwards any more beautiful, but I think you may have. Beyond stunning.
Shea and Nick, thank you for including me in this dream wedding day. I loved each and every minute of it, and hope you will cherish these treasures for years to come.
“Their devotion shower me there were no versions of love, there was only….love. That it had no equal and that it was worth searching for, even if that search took a lifetime.”
-Jennifer Worth, The Midwife
Mackie and Kail, loved spending the day with you two as we wandered throughout into the woods. You were absolutely right at how breathtaking the venue would be, and how much fun all your family and friends would be! Thank you for including us and hope you treasure these captures.
“Their devotion showed me there was no versions of love, there was only…love. That is had no equal and that it was worth searching for, even if that search took a lifetime.”
Alyssa and Chris, I just loved you both. It is that plain and simple. Your joy, energy, giddiness, was truly contagious. I love how you to simply love each other, and it was such an awesome privilege to witness the the official beginning to this love story!
This couple completely melted my heart! Kasey is the type of person when you talk to her she feels instantly like a friend you have known for years and Vince has that sweet solid composure that makes you feel like all is ok in the world. So, putting the the two of them together is one of those beautiful combinations that obviously came from something bigger than all of us.
These two had a beautiful day from beginning to end. At the farm at Old Edwards, which is one of my absolutely favorite venues, because there is loveliness literally around every corner. But, how I also love so much the “get away” experience it provides all the guests, and how you feel instantly relaxed the moment you arrive.
Kasey and Vince, I can’t begin to express my gratitude for how you guys included us in such an incredible day. We felt like family the moment we arrived, and that is something I will always treasure!
Much joy sweet friends!
So much lovely from this beautiful park side wedding. Ross and Amber wanted to show off their favorite view of their city and the Piedmont Room allows for such an intimate, yet elegant setting. I love that all the events of a wedding day can happen so close together, while feeling like it could be multiple different locations. With the help of Elisabeth from Molly McKinley Designs and the incredible staff at the venue, everything was seamless and beyond lovely.
Amber and Ross, you two are so intentional with the people that you love. It was such a joy to watch the way you thoughtfully decided to include so many family and friends throughout your day. It was truly such a beautiful, warm and inviting day, and we were so thankful to witnessed it all.
These two were probably the most joyous clients I think I have ever had. I don’t think a second of their day went by without the two of them wearing the biggest smiles. They loved and laughed so well, and it was so much fun to watch and capture. The sweetest part of the day was during their ceremony, Lesley’s grandfather officiated, and was truly able to look over his grandaughter’s life and give such a personal testimony of marriage. I couldn’t have thought of a more perfect person to tie their knot, and I was just so thankful to have witnessed it.
Hey you two, thank you for being so awesome to us! We loved every second with you guys, and I promise if you keep that joy between the two of you, you will truly have such a special marriage.
Much joy and enjoy your sneak peek!
These two. they will take your breath away. Their wedding was beautiful and thoughtful. Every detail during Taylor and Mack’s wedding was such evidence of their love for each other and their families. At one point during their ceremony their friends and family prayed over them, and it was one of the most beautiful moments I have experienced at a wedding, to no one’s surprise, I bawled like a baby.
I am so excited about my 2017 wedding season! I have so many amazing couples and tons of wedding adventures to look forward to! But, there is always something so special to me about my first wedding of the year. Its like it represents the vibe for the year, and if the rest of 2017 is like Chip and Ellen’s than it is going to be an awesome year.
These two were married in Charleston, one of my favorite places on this planet. I love deep southern roots, the low country personality, and its beautiful history and architecture. So, to have a wedding there always makes my heart pitter patter. They held their reception at the The Gadsden House where with every turn and inch of the property was lovely. With the addition of King Street Hospitality Group and florals by Tiger Lily Weddings, every detail was thought out and beyond special.
One of the coolest parts of the wedding was getting to see a few past couples and a few of our upcoming ones!! It felt like we had a little family of our own there, and made the day that much more perfect.
Chip and Ellen you guys are awesome. Chip you were such a trooper as we worked through all though all the formal photos, and Ellen, you were breathtaking and so kind all day. I hope you love these sweet moments! I know I am only giving a glimpse into the late night throw down, but man, you guys sure know how to throw an amazing party! So thankful to have been there!
I love what I do. It really is so special. With that, truly, these two made me even more thankful for getting to do what I do if thats possible. Their hearts are just so unique and beautiful. Those type of people that you know see the world just a little bit different. They see people a little bit different. That see love a little bit different. It was so refreshing and I just adored them.
There were so many beautiful details throughout this day, and I loved getting to capture all of it. Little River Farms is such a lovely venue that truly was a perfect fit for them. I could go into each unique beautiful detail, but I will hope to let the photos do more of the talking!
Andrew and Heather, thank you for allowing AP and I to be a part of such an impactful day. I know your guests left just as touched as we did, and for that I am so thankful!
Enjoy these treasures!
I hope that all of you are feeling wonderfully rested, full of all sorts of warm and fuzzies after the holiday! We had a blast! With all our recent travelings, we decided to stay close to home and celebrate.. we had much needed catch up time with friends and family, especially coming out of my “photographer hermit time” during crazy season. I just loved getting to settle in the holiday and time off playing. The girls got an ATV for christmas from their grandparents, so we had a blast teaching them how to ride it. I closed the computer and didn’t pick up my camera for 3 whole days, which I could tell my girlies were needing from their mama. so, it was wonderful.
I was really hoping to get Katherine and Chris’ blog up before the break, but it certainly gave me something to look forward to coming back in to the studio today! I just loved these two. They are both lovely individuals, who you can tell adore each other.
Katherine and Chris tied the knot in the beautiful St. Annes Church and followed by a reception at the beautiful antebellum home Naylor Hall. Aside from the most yummy dinner, they threw the best dance party that lasted almost all night, including a visit from Buzz, which I will have to say, is the perfect way to celebrate two amazing people who have said “i do!” to forever!
Chris and Katherine, it truly was such an awesome day. how thankful I am for how relaxed and welcoming you both were to us…truly made the day effortless.
Enjoy the sneak peek!!
This wedding was full of so much wonderful. From the beautiful venue, to all of their thoughtful decor, I mean, flowers for days because of one of my favorite flower ladies, Boukates, all the gorgeous fall colors, to such a joyful and wonderful wedding party, to family members who hugged us and welcomed us with open arms, to Kaitlin and Zach whose hearts are as big as their love for each other.
My favorite part of the day was Kaitlin and Zach decided to exchange letters with each other, but do it in a way where they still couldn’t see each other, but be near each other and talk to each other while they read their letters. I just loved how that little moment of being close to each other eased their nerves and allowed for such a beautiful intimate moment between them.
Kaitlin and Zach, so much goodness this day. I hope you guys can look back and always cherish all of it. So thankful to have been able to capture such a wonderful day.
Cheers to you both!
