Hi Friends, 

I know that there are a lot of amazing moments happening throughout a wedding day. In this case, my favorite moment from Nicole and Michael’s wedding was their first look. We arrived about an hour before documenting their getting ready photos and though both were really happy, I can see their anxiousness and nerves. It was almost as though the weather could feel their nerves. The clouds deep blue, the backdrop of the still lake, and a slight chill in the air. So watching the two of them connect eyes, touch fingers, and embrace was easily my favorite first look moment I have seen because that very instant all their anxiousness wiped away, and not to sound cheesy but shortly after the sun came out. It was a completely different day from that moment. Such a blessing and how amazing it is to find a person you are able to share that with. and get to spend forever with them. 

After the ceremony, with the sun shining, we were able to venture out to a beautiful wildflower field. It was breathtaking, and I was so thankful to get experience such an intimate time all over again. Definitely one of my favorite series of photographs during a wedding. 

By the evening, their guests got to dine by candlelight with the view of the lake as the sunset over the water in what could only be described as a timeless evening. 

Michael and Nicole, I just cannot express what an honor and inspiration it was to experience your wedding day. You both are living examples of love and grace.
