Hi Friends!
Oh its Monday. Here in atlanta we had an absolutely beautiful weekend. Sunny, in the 60’s, perfect weather, and monday comes and it is rainy and gloomy. Which makes me want to stay in my comfy pants, have a cup of coffee in my hand constantly and a good book. But, Im trying my best to stay on task and knock out my to do list. So, to make my day brighter, I am excited to share Kelly and Austin’s gorgeous Engine Room Wedding.
Im going to be honest and share that even after all these years, after all these weddings, I still get teary. I still cry at weddings. There are moments that are just so big that, no matter what, they still pull on my heart. For Kelly and Austin it was during their ceremony, and their minister asked their entire wedding to come lay hands on them and pray for their marriage. It was so powerful and so meaningful. Your wedding party and your close family will be the people that hopefully will be in your lives for a long time. The people that saw your relationship when it started. Saw your romance and the reasons why you chose to marry each other. So that when there are bumps in your marriage…and there will be bumps because no marriage is perfect…they can be the people to step in and support the two of you together. The people who will remind you of your story that is worth fighting for. So, this act of love and support brought tears to my eyes because I know how much they will need these people and what an impact these relationships will have on their marriage.
Kelly and Austin, not only was your wedding stunning, full of beautiful details that had us ooooing and ahhhhing the whole day, but, more importantly how your friends and family loved on you guys, how there wasn’t a dry eye during your toasts, and how you both publicly shared how God is the foundation of your marriage will truly forever touch my heart. thank you.
Much joy to you both!!
Alea
