Hi friends!
The sun popped out for literally 5 minutes for Ellen and Dave’s wedding. But between their warm friends and cheery family, their bright and colorful details, and how all smiles they were, there was plenty of sunshine to make up for the cloud coverage.
I have really enjoyed getting to know these two over the last year, and I was thrilled to see how all of their dreaming and planning for their wedding unfolded. Aside from all of that loveliness, my favorite part was their written vows to each other which was so personal and honest. I always love hearing what a couple decides to write as their commitments to each other. 4 years and 6 months since their first date, they both took a chance on each other. In return, Ellen promised to be in his corner and his greatest cheerleader, promised to love him even when she wants to hate him, always be honest and faithful, and always kiss him goodnight. Dave promised to push her everyday, celebrate her when times are good. He promised to admit when he is wrong and forgive her when he is right. To never get her out of bed without good plans to feed her. He promised to never take for granted how happy she makes him. It was a privilege to watch their commitment and I will forever be touched by it.
Ellen and Dave, I loved every second. You both brighten any room, and I am so thankful I got to be there to document, but witness such an awesome celebration. And Im a little biased too, I think you both made the right call. 🙂 Enjoy your sneak peek!

Oh, and I would be remiss not mention, the day went off perfectly thanks to coordination by A Flawless Event! And all of the stunning florals by Holly Bryan Design literally had me swooning at every turn!
