“Dear Moms and Dads of littles who are worn slap out. The days are sometimes so very long. But the years are so incredibly short.

So many people tried to tell me this. At the time, it felt like we had forever.

But the last bedtime story came. And so did the last carpool run, the last sleep over and the last day we all lived in the same hour… the same city.

I love where I am not with my grown kids.

But I sure do miss being able to run upstairs and watch them dreaming.
