Hi friends!

I know I’ve said it before, but one of my favorite things is when my friends allow me into their home to photograph the different seasons of their lives. But though, it’s a favorite it’s definitely more challenging because I find that while taking photos my heart is bursting and I feel like I’m literally going to explode with excitement for them.

Its a similar feeling to watching a groom start to ball when he sees his bride for the first time. Theres something internal that makes it impossible for me to not cry, so I’m just clicking and hoping I’m getting what I should because my eyes are filled with tears.

So, when Lindsey asked if I would shoot their first photos as a sweet family of three, my heart skipped a beat! Knowing what a kind, gentle, and wonderful heart she is, and now she is a mommy.  A wonderful one at that. Loved watching her embrace motherhood and loved getting a glimpse of her family. Plus, Josephine is absolutely a doll, which had me smitten and plotting on how I could sneak her home with me… They wouldn’t notice right?
