Hi friends!!
Relationships. When it comes down to it, they are what wedding days are made of. At the core of this wedding, of course, was the relationship between Dorothy and Jeff, a young couple who built a strong foundation with the support of their close friends and family. Each of their respective families played their part in raising two exceptional individuals who would find their perfect match in the other. Both of them had beautiful relationships with their parents. Watching Dorothy with her parents, her father’s face when he saw her for the first time as a bride, and her mother’s hug before heading off to the ceremony, were powerful manifestations of their bond. Jeff’s mother son dance brought tears to my eyes. It was these moments, where the strength of all of these relationships were demonstrated, that we witnessed all throughout Dorothy and Jeff’s wedding day. The expression “it takes a village” came to mind several times, especially when friends and family members shared stories of the couple’s childhood and courtship.
Dorothy and Jeff, it was an honor and a privilege to witness and document the relationships that made this day!! And, of course, being a part of capturing all the fun!!! (there was certainly a lot of that as well!) The love, respect, and joy shared throughout the crowd was extended to us, and we are so thankful for this!
much joy!
Alea
