Elf on the Shelf.

Hi Friends!

This is the second year that we have had our friend Roosevelt come visit us from the North Pole! He is Santa’s messenger…i.e. spy. and visits us during the day to watch the kids, and magically flies back to the North Pole for daily reports. The girls LOVE him, and every morning when they wake up it’s a race to see who can find him first. When my 5 year old comes home from school, he has found himself a new spot because of course he was watching her at school, and had to rush back to the house to find himself another good observatory spot.

When Loa got home from school this afternoon, she walked up to Roosevlet and said, “Hello Roosevelt, i would like to apologize because I poured the whole bottle of soup on my table at school. It was an accident I promise. Please tell santa i am sorry.”

If you haven’t tried this tradition, it is totally worth it… it’ll be a fun family tradition for years I’m I will totally be hiding it even after the girls come home from college!!

Joy!
