Hi Friends!

It seems as though I blinked and now it is thursday, thursday evening no less. I have to share a quick random mention, there was a time that I was a little skeptical of social media. I was, am, a late bloomer with the whole facebook, tweeting thing. But, over the past few weeks, I can honestly say, that it really is a very cool thing. For example, last week was my birthday, and I was so over-joyed to see all the birthday wishes. It was such a cool thing to see someone I haven’t been able to talk to in forever, and for them to have given me time to write on my wall. It really is so cool. Or, yesterday, I wrote that i was feeling pretty overwhelmed (which I am feeling better), and over the past 24 hours my inbox has filled up with folks saying they will be praying for me, and offering me a hug! I tell ya, that is so cool! So, I can’t believe that I am going to say this, but I really like social media. lol!

So, now for my incredibly HUGE blog post from our sweet friends Jennifer and Alex. Consider yourself warned, but Kim and I had an incredibly hard time picking our favorites for the blog post, so we just got tired of taking photos out, and decided to just go ahead and post all our favorites! Well, not ALL, cause, oh my goodness. I digress! 

Jennifer and Alex’s wedding was at the Bascom in the beautiful mountains of Highlands, NC. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. I was a little worried about a late August wedding and how hot it would be, but it was perfect!! It also helps that J+A are an absolutely gorgeous couple, which made photoing around the beautiful outdoor gallery just a dream. As you will shortly see, and why it was so incredibly hard to narrow down! 

Jennifer and Alex, Kim and I really had a blast with you both! We are so grateful to have been able to experience such an amazing day. Everything about it was awesome, and hopefully you can see that in all the photos!
