Every time we meet our couples, we talk with them, we listen to their stories of how they met and we share with them in the excitement of planning a wedding. All the while, we are dreaming that after we photograph their amazing wedding (hopefully :), that we’ll have these two wonderful new friends and that we would love to see them often. If by chance or purposefully, it really doesn’t matter. Just as long as the next time we see them, we can look at them as our friends!

When we first met Katy, we had the same dream for her and really we had no idea how important she would become in our lives!! Shortly after Katy and Keith’s wedding (amazing by the way) we found the need to bring someone else into our little family. A studio manager to be exact, so we sent out a note to all of our peeps to be on the lookout for someone who might be the right fit. Someone organized, but fun, and they had to be able to keep us sane during those times of the year when we are 3 weddings behind and 7 family sessions behind!!! Oh, and they had to love kids and animals!!! haha!! Katy was our girl!

Now after all this time, Katy and Keith are having a baby!!!!! We are just over the moon with joy for them and we can’t wait to meet baby Lockhart! It should be any day now and hopefully they will get to see these photos before she arrive! They seriously might be on the way to the hospital right now!! This little girl is going to be such an amazing addition to our AMP family and we expect lots of visits!! Oh and Kim calls it!!! She gets to hold her first! 

Katy, We have all had so many amazing talks and TONS of cupcake days in between all the hard work and dedication. We are so happy for you both and wish you all the happiness in the world! We are so proud of you and want you to know we are with you on this amazing adventure! We love you, now go do the baby thing!!
