Milan Family

Hi friends!

A very happy early thanksgiving to everyone! I am enjoying some wonderful relaxing time with dear friends in gorgeous Seaside Florida, and kim is off to see her family in San Diego! I am, despite being out of town, still trying to keep up with the blog, because I know each of you are being so patient for your photo sneaking! I absolutely love the photos I am about to share because this little family is honestly one of the sweetest trios I have ever met. It was beyond evident that they loved each other unmeasurably, and this sweet little boy was such a treat! You will see why in exactly four seconds!

Hugs friends, and hope all of you are enjoying some wonderful time with family and friends!
Much joy,
Alea

Alea, Thank you for capturing my family in such a perfect light! My favorite photo is the one where Ollie and I are walking together away from the camera holding hands. That photo is special to me because there is a poem that my dad has on his bedroom wall that is titled “the little chap who follows me” :
The Little Chap Who Follows Me
A careful man I ought to be,
    A little fellow follows me,
I do not dare to go astray
For fear he’ll go the selfsame way.
I cannot once escape his eyes,
    Whate’er he sees me do, he tries;
Like me, he says, he’s going to be,
The little chap who follows me.
He thinks that I am good and fine,
Believes in every word of mine
The base in me he must not see,
The little chap who follows me.
I must remember as I go,
Through summer’s fun and winter’s snow,
In building for the years to be
The little chap who follows me!
