Winter isn’t my absolute favorite time of the year, but I will say that we’ve had a really mild winter season so far. It does however make us think on our toes when it’s 30 degrees and windy outside!! I met Ximena and Marshall a few weeks ago for their engagement session and they actually had the awesome idea of going to the Park Tavern ice skating rink!! How fun! It was something special they did on their very first date and I couldn’t wait to join them on the ice. They looked pretty great out there and I’m really glad there were no pictures of me!! I looked pretty silly with my ice shoes on. I’m not that graceful on ice skates as it is but with a camera in my hands, the photos would have been hilarious!! So ice shoes all the way for me! Oh, and I must give a special shout out to the group of 10 girls that lent us a helping hand. We got some “eeeews” and “there’s no kissing on the ice” from them, but in the end, they LOVED being our props!!

Ximena and Marshall, Yay!! Ice skating was the best idea ever!! Thanks so much for braving the cold and having a little fun with me!! Let’s pray that we will be nice and toasty in Austin, TX for your wedding!!
