Laura + Patrick | Destination Wedding Photographers

What a fun surprise to have a Sayurday blog!! We couldn’t wait a second longer to share this amazing couple and as we’re getting pumped up for today’s wedding in Kellum Valley, we can’t help but think of Laura and Patrick!! A few weeks back, we headed up to Highlands, North Caroline with fall gleaming in our eyes! It seems over the past few years we’ve had the joy of visiting that spectacular place at least once a season! Fun, fun!! Laura and Patrick’s wedding weekend was full of family and friends from all around and we felt so welcomed the second we arrived! Now a little rain hurt anyone 🙂 but a down pour can sometimes be a bummer 🙂 I am always so proud of our amazing couples when Mother Nature decides to share a few rain drops on their wedding day. This year, we’ve definitely had our fair share of wet weekends and as much as we all schedule and plan, a rainy wedding day just makes you think  little more on your toes 🙂 Keeps us sharp!! When Alea and I arrived to spend some time with Laura and her girls getting ready, Laura didn’t let a little rain ruin her day! Her smile and excitement filled the room and we knew it was going to be a perfect day!!

There were so many beautiful things floating around throughout the day at The Bascom. Patrick’s mom and her 3 sisters running around helping make everything perfect including making the wedding cake and grooms cake!! Yumo!! There were Laura’s bridesmaids that each went way above and beyond to help ensure that she felt stress free. The wildflowers galore but truly my favorite part of the day was simply spending time with this sweet couple. With all the extra going on all around them, they never forgot to look at each other often, hold hands every second they could and laugh and love throughout their special day together!!

Laura and Patrick, being a part of your wedding day was so special to us and we wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else! We’ll always remember your smiles throughout the day and out little mountain adventure :):)

Enjoy!

    Hi Alea,
I just saw the pictures from Laura and Patrick’s wedding on your blog and they look great! I work with PR and social media with Epting Events and like to get hi-res copies of the photos from photographers so we can potentially use them in future print or online advertising, as well as on our blog. Sometime in the next week or so, would it be possible to get hi-res files from you of those pictures? I know that sometimes it can be difficult to share such large files and what I have done in the past with some photographers is select 10 or so images and just received those. Is that something you’d be interested in doing?
Thanks again for all your help!
    Julie
