White Family | Atlanta Lifestyle Photographer

Hi Friends!

There is this  great great emerson quote that I just love, ” Each moment of the year has it’s beauty… a picture which was never seen before and shall never be seen again.”  ralph waldo emerson
It is the reminder of how valuable it is that we enjoy where we are because tomorrow it will be gone. How you can’t duplicate it. You’ve been there before…  you had this amazing trip, this amazing party, this amazing date, this amazing fill in the blank, and you are tempted to duplicate it, try it again, and it just wasn’t as amazing. For me, on a day to day level, though many of my moments may seem redundant, and if I take time to look at each one on it’s own, I realize that while they are similar, they are not the same. All moments are unique and filed with opportunity. A new moment each time we sit down at the dinner table. Every time we walk to the bus stop. Each time we read “brown bear, brown bear” even if it is the 107th time. Each time I get up in the middle of the night to rock one of my babies to sleep.  Its its own unique moment. The good news is that even if I miss some of these moments, its not the end of the world, because there are many many more moments coming. So take a deep breath, and enjoy the ones you are experiencing. Be intentional to be present, but be free to release the moments that dont matter. Because tomorrow is a different day, next year will be a different year, and 10 years your family will look completely different. And I am thankful for that. Because I can’t wait to see what my little ones will grow up to be.
I am so excited to share these next few photos with you because this sweet family gave me the opportunity to allow them to create their own moments and then let me capture them. It was so fun to say, ” Just be the sweet family you are, enjoy this beautiful day, and have fun roasting some marshmallows.” It was perfect. It made photographing them effortless because they were just being so stink’en cute, and hopefully I was able to capture exactly how this family wanted to remember the individual stages each of them are in.
White family! You guys Rock!! Thank you for such a fun afternoon. I hope you were able to get the gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate out of all the kids clothes! Hope you love these sweet photos!

Much joy!
