Hi Friends!

This is my beautiful friend and her darling family. I have been blessed to know Courtney over the last few years as she is an incredible photographer, such a fun mama, and loves Jesus with all her heart. This little family has a lot of fun life happening to them, and I have enjoyed watching how God is moving mountains for their family! I was just soooo excited for them when they shared they would be expecting a second baby girl!! (yay girl club) I was so tickled to get to photograph their family in such a special time. I love maternity sessions because it is such a great way to celebrate a new chapter about to start in your life. I had the best time with them and exploring such a beautiful spot near their home on Lake Lanier. I do have to share, and I hope that it doesn’t embarrass Courtney too much, but when we were chatting back and forth about ideas for the shoot, how she hoped to have something soft, lovely light, romantic, and some silhouettes… and she was sharing her outfit choices, I had briefly mentioned, “maybe you should try a dress??”. She said she would give a thought and take a look around. When I arrived for the shoot and courtney came out wearing this lovely dress, having her hair and makeup done, Ill be honest, i was floored to see my beautiful jeans and a tshirt wearing friend, so absolutely gorgeous. With the accompany of her sweet baby belly, she was just beautiful. 

Courtney and Doug, this little girl is going to be brought into the world with two of the most amazing parents and the best big sister. SO excited for this new chapter for you guys and wait to meet her! much joy!
