Ansley + Ken | Destination Wedding Photographers

Hi Friends!

It is such a special thing to be able to photograph someone you know. Whether it is for photographing my friends and their families or photographing two friends tying the knot. In this case, I had met Ansley while she was helping coordinate a wedding. She was so much fun to work with and I was so thankful for her big smiles and her ability in making everyone feel comfortable. Working a few weddings together, and when the time came for her wedding, we were over the moon that she asked us to be their photographers. She and Ken were a dream to work with. They’re both full of dry humor, good style, and the biggest hearts. Truly two of the kindest souls (behind, lets be honest, the most beautiful faces.) Capturing their love was nothing short of a privilege.

I had been looking forward to their wedding all year long, and was so excited to head down to Jekyll Island for their wedding. Just to show you how cool these two are, when clouds and rain hit the day of the wedding, they kept smiling and rolled with it. (unlike me on the other hand, there was definitely pouting.) However, the rain held off long enough for the two of them to have there ceremony out doors in the beautiful courtyard of the Crane Cottage. Followed by their adorably fun reception fill with chic personal details and so much dancing that surely kept Kim and I very entertained. A huge thanks to Caroline from Caroline Carter Events for coordinating!

Ansley and Ken, you guys rock! I can not begin to even to share how thankful we were to capture your wedding day. Thank you so much for being so willing and able to not only embrace the elements of a day full of photographs, but also for welcoming us so opening into your wedding! Such a beautiful day under the oaks. Hugs to you both!!

Much joy!

Alea
