my thanksgiving table

There are two things that I think truly welcome the season of entertaining: good food and a set dining table. I really believe the table should be a reflection of the celebration, and I love dressing up my Thanksgiving table with a good mix of natural, old, and new pieces. I typically like to start with your staple pieces- dishes, silverware, and glasses and incorporate a lot of texture on top—usually in the form of a naturals, candles and vases, and the textures- like placemats and napkins.

I’m love blending styles in general—especially when it comes to setting the table. Layering contrasting looks like rustic chargers with modern plates, tones flatware and vintage-inspired glassware, gives the table some character and makes for an interesting overall aesthetic.

I hope these table-setting ideas will inspire you to choose pieces for your own Thanksgiving table that will make everyone who gathers around it feel right at home.
