Hi Sweet friends!!
I am just getting back from photographing a wedding on Daufuskie Island, literally an island, where I had to take a water taxi over and drive a golf cart and there was no cell service… it was incredible, but now Im back mainland, connected again, and doing my best to catch up on all the goodness that has been waiting for me here! I am so excited to share with you another one of my favorite island weddings! Stephen and Caroline were married in St. Simons, and it was such an incredible day. If I am being honest, it was probably the gloomiest day I have ever experienced on the island and as we all know all with all the rain we have been having, it literally only stopped raining long enough for us to step outside for a few minutes at a time. But, the weather couldn’t get in the way of what an wonderful day it was as so many gathered to celebrate this awesome couple.
Their ceremony was at Wesley United Ceremony which provided such a lovely backdrop with its coastal church vibe and I have to say I think it is one of the prettiest churches on the Golden Isles. Immediately following, this couple treated their guests to a incredible night with live music and coastal views at the King and Prince. Their was tastes of coastal dining, toasts that made everyone in the room brought to tears, and dancing, oh was there dancing! I enjoyed every second and loved celebrating alongside the friends and family of this incredible couple.
Caroline and Stephen, thank you so much for welcoming me down to the beautiful coast and allowing me to witness all that is near and dear to you both. I truly did not want the night to end, but I hope these sweet captures will take us all right back to that day!
Much joy!
Alea
