You might recognize this gorgeous bride and her dapper fellow. I had the privilege of photoing their engagement session a while back and after that small time, we certainly LOVED getting to spend an entire day with them. Kathryn and John-Scott were married over memorial weekend at the Chattahoochee Nature Conservatory. Kim and I hadn’t been to this beautiful nature surrounded venue before, and we were instantly in love. I was in love with the flower lined paths where I literally felt like sniffing every flower, so I was thankful that the aroma just filled the air. The open air venue draped with curtains surrounded by the green was stunning. I adored the medow where these two said their “i do’s”. I was in love with all the gorgeous florals by my talented friend Katie of Boukates. It was such a great day. and the best part, this awesome couple. John-Scott was a stud and Kathryn was up for anything and looked absolutely elegant whilst she did it. Beyond thankful to have witnessed it and to have captured it all.
Kathryn and John-Scott, one of my favorite parts of the day was during Mr. Abbotts toasts when he shared one of the greatest things in life is to be nice. That the people you want to be around, the people you will remember- are the people in this world who are above all else kind and thoughtful and simply…nice. Niceness can sometimes be taken for granted in this world where we move by the second. So to be reminded to not lose site of that virtue. Carry it close in everything you do. and I can honestly say that you two are some of the nicest people I have met. I feel truly blessed to have witnessed such a beautiful occasion of two nice souls. thank you.
and I would be remised without mentioning the flawless coordination credit goes to my new friend Autumn from Harts & Petals.
